As industry leaders in equipping technicians to work safely on the vehicles of today and tomorrow, ZF Aftermarket has enjoyed a successful AutoInform Live.
Visitors to the event, which took place at the GTG Training Academy in Wolverhampton last month, were treated to a snapshot of ZF Aftermarket’s IMI-accredited courses through three 90-minute interactive workshops.
ZF Aftermarket gave attendees the opportunity to enhance their own knowledge of vehicles with high-voltage systems and automatic transmissions, as well as helping them gain a greater understanding of steering geometry calibration. These activities saw ZF receive overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees at the event.
Delegates were also introduced to ZF Aftermarket’s new high-voltage training rig. The state-of-the-art piece of equipment helped attendees to learn first-hand safe working methods with high-voltage technology. A BMW 5 series was also used as an example to demonstrate how to rectify issues with steering geometry which causes accelerated tyre wear.
Matt Shakespeare, Technical Sales Manager at ZF commented: ”This is the fourth year we have supported AutoInform Live and we are delighted with the success of event.
“With an increasing number of vehicle manufacturers placing electrification at the core of their business, our aim is to ensure independent garages can upskill their technicians to work safely and effectively on these vehicles. Following the event, interest in ZF Services [pro]Tech continues to grow as delegates have seen the quality of training we provide and, see the value in continuing to gain access to technical information across the complete ZF product portfolio.”
