Bosch launches new products to support heavy vehicle diagnostics
Bosch has has enhanced its truck and heavy vehicle diagnostics and workshop services programmes with the launch of three new products: KTS Truck (3rd Generation), OHW 3 for Material Handling Equipment and a Heavy Vehicle Training Programme.
The new third generation of the KTS Truck provides an upgrade over the previous model, with a more powerful processor, enabling faster communication, including PassThru and Remote Diagnostics capabilities.
Partnered with ESI[tronic] Evolution software for Truck and Off-Highway applications, Bosch says this provides a premium diagnostic solution for all commercial and heavy vehicle workshops.
To partner the new KTS Truck, there is also the launch of an additional Off-Highway software package – OHW 3 for Material Handling Equipment.
The software supports the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of forklifts, lift platforms and telehandlers. In addition – the OHW 3 package provides information for working on hydraulic systems, as well as installation and removal instructions for components.
The new OHW 3 package complements the existing ESI[tronic] packages for commercial vehicles (Truck), agricultural vehicles (OHW 1), construction vehicles and engines (OHW 2). These ESI[tronic] packages can be licenced individually or in combination, depending on user and workshop requirements.
Bosch has also launched two brand new training courses, specifically designed for heavy vehicle technicians in commercial vehicle and off-highway workshops.
Heavy Vehicle Essential Test Procedures (HV56) and Heavy Vehicle Diesel Sensors (HV57) are the first two training courses which Bosch has developed as a part of a wider Heavy Vehicle training programme, with further courses currently in development for delivery in 2025 and beyond.
Bosch Mobility Aftermarket will be exhibiting at CV Workshop EXPO 2024, which takes place alongside the Auto Trade EXPO at the RDS in Dublin from 12th-13th October.
