febi highlights its 3D printed headlight washer nozzle
A problem arising on some Audi models can now be resolved with a product offered by febi under the febiPLUS product range.
The 3D printed headlight washer nozzle (175711) provides the aftermarket with an alternative cost-saving solution, according to febi.

Made from nylon and reinforced with carbon fibres, this is the first component that has been produced by bilstein group Engineering using 3D printing technology.
A headlight washer nozzle is designed to give the most effective spray pattern in order to clean the headlight lens.
When the headlights are switched on, the headlight washers are operated after every five to six applications of the windscreen wipers. The washer fluid is then applied to the headlights in order to keep the lens clean and to ensure that the headlight beam pattern is not distorted.
However, during the colder months, it is common that water residue will freeze, thus forcing the headlight washer nozzle out of the holder.
As the headlight washer nozzle is not available separately from Audi, febi says this represents a cost-saving to the vehicle owner as they do not have to purchase the complete washer nozzle assembly in order to replace the faulty component.
febi’s headlight washer nozzle has been designed to fit the Audi A3 (8P), S3 (8P), A6 (4F), S6 (4F).
It is part of the febiPLUS range which includes more than 1,300 specially selected articles.
