Suzuki Swift clutch fitment guide
When installing a new clutch kit to a Suzuki Swift VVT, you may come across an actuation issue. In some installations of these applications, non-release after a short period has been a reported area of concern.
It is common that the clutch fork will develop hairline cracks, resulting in flex and non-release within a short period of operation. This means that even when the clutch slave cylinder is at full movement, the clutch may not release.
Solution
To achieve the best result when carrying out the installation, and to ensure consistent full release is achieved, NAPA Auto Parts recommends careful inspection of the fork, including applying some load to confirm there are no cracks or damage to the item.
If there is concern, you must replace the fork. This is an actuation fault rather than a clutch kit fault.
At NAPA, know how is everything. Its range of clutch kits offers consistent OE-quality performance but, in the event of an unexpected failure, the NAPA Clutch Kit range is backed by a three-year/36,000-mile warranty.
