Replace a Valeo wiper motor pantograph system

Replace a Valeo wiper motor pantograph system easily! Example with Valeo wiper motor 579159 for: Renault Twingo phase 1. Required tooling: • a wiper arm extractor • ratchets & extensions • appropriate set of sockets • appropriate screw drivers 1- Turn the engine off and please wait 5 minutes to ensure a complete shut-down of the electronic control unit. 2- Mark the position of the wiper arm and blade. 3- Remove the plastic cover off the wiper arm. 4- Remove the wiper arm with the extractor. 5- Remove the wiper motor and cover as a complete unit. 6- Take the new wiper motor and place the motor on the cover. 7- Assemble the cover with the new motor in the engine compartment. 8- Start the engine and check the wiper system is functioning correctly Valeo recommends to change the wiper blades once a year.
